Full Stack Web Developer
As a Full Stack Web Developer intern and associate at Okieri SoftTech, you will architect complete software systems from responsive client-side interfaces to distributed microservices. You will work side-by-side with senior tech leads building enterprise ERP platforms, customer portals, and real-time dashboards for commercial clients.

What You Will Build & Deliver
Hands-on responsibilities during your tenure:
- Architect and build high-performance frontend interfaces using React 18, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.
- Develop robust RESTful and GraphQL backend endpoints using Node.js or Java Spring Boot.
- Design and optimize relational PostgreSQL and MySQL database schemas with indexing and connection pooling.
- Integrate third-party services including payment gateways, OAuth providers, and automated notification webhooks.
- Deploy containerized applications to AWS / DigitalOcean utilizing Docker and automated GitHub Actions CI/CD.
- Participate in daily agile standups, code reviews, and architectural design reviews.
Who We Are Looking For
Prerequisites and profile expectations:
- Foundational understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with React and modern state management patterns.
- Familiarity with server-side development in Node.js, Express, or Java Spring Boot.
- Basic knowledge of SQL database queries, joins, and relational data modeling.
- Eagerness to learn production git workflows, unit testing, and scalable architecture.
- Pursuing or completed a Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
